Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By registering for or using HobbyCatalog (“the Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

HobbyCatalog lets you create and manage personal collection catalogs, add items, upload images, and share catalogs with others. The Service is provided “as is” without warranty. You use the Service at your own risk.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
• You must be at least 16 years old to register.
• One account per person; no account sharing.
• You may request account deletion at any time by contacting privacy@hobbycatalog.net.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you upload. By uploading content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display it as part of providing the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

You must not upload:

• pornographic content
• illegal substances or drug-related content
• weapons intended for harm
• any content that violates applicable laws

We may remove any content at our discretion without notice.

5. Prohibited use

You must not:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or infringing content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users’ data.
• Use the Service to send spam or scrape data.
• Circumvent any security or bot-protection measures.

6. Pricing and Free Tier

The Service is currently offered free of charge within certain usage limits (the “Free Tier”). These limits may include, but are not limited to, storage, bandwidth, and feature availability. We reserve the right to introduce fees, modify pricing, or adjust the Free Tier limits at any time, particularly in response to increased operational or infrastructure costs. If a paid plan is introduced or Free Tier limits are reduced, we will provide reasonable advance notice (e.g., via email or in-app notification). Continued use of the Service beyond any applicable Free Tier limits may require upgrading to a paid plan. Users are responsible for reviewing any updated pricing or usage limitations communicated by the Service.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HobbyCatalog is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

We do not guarantee that your data will never be lost or corrupted.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction of Portugal.
